Safe Schools Conference

SCOE is partnering with the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office and RESIG to host a free conference on school safety on September 26, 2019. The event will feature up-to-date, relevant information for you and your district/school’s safety team. Sessions include opening remarks by District Attorney Jill Ravitch, preparing for and responding to school violence, a panel discussion with School Resource Officers on school site safety and cyber safety, Stop the Bleed, and a presentation by school safety expert Gary Sigrist on social and emotional safety.

When: 8:00AM-3:00PM (Breakfast and lunch will be provided.)

Where: SCOE, 5340 Skylane Boulevard, Santa Rosa, CA 95403

Audience: All school staff, including but not limited to teachers, administrators, office staff, custodians, facilities and maintenance staff, school resource officers, and board members. Other school service providers, such as onsite daycare providers, after-school programs, and partnering nonprofits are also encouraged to attend.
