Redwood Empire Schools’ Insurance Group (RESIG) is pleased to offer the initial 2-day Fire and
Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) course. The course will be presented at RESIG’s
Conference Center located at 5760 Skylane Blvd., Suite 100, in Windsor, California on October
15th and 16th , 2024. This course is accredited through the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and
Restoration Certification (IICRC). The course will be conducted by the Academy of Textiles and
Flooring (ATF). ATF is an accredited IICRC course provider. The Fire and Smoke Restoration
Technician course concentrates on technical procedures and protocols for successfully
conducting the restoration of a fire and smoke damaged environment. Students will learn how to
combine technical procedures with practical approaches for managing fire and smoke impacted
environments including deodorization of fire and smoke damaged structures.

- Conducting inspections of fire and smoke damaged structures
