RESIG’s Job Template Project
In today’s climate, having up to date and valid job descriptions are a must. RESIG recognized this need and hired an independent company, DMG, to perform several onsite job analyses throughout three different sized Districts (small, medium and large). Interviewers met with managers, supervisors and employees. They paid special attention to essential job functions and the physical/mental requirements of the perspective jobs. The outcome produced a bank of Job Templates that can now be accessed and utilized by our member districts. There are many benefits to having updated and valid job descriptions such as; legal compliance, hiring/interviewing needs, and providing clear employee expectations. They can also be useful for Supervisors, Medical Providers, and a host of others.
