Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule

RRP certifcation is required to perform renovation, repair or painting activities where 6sqft or more of lead-based paint is disturbed in a room, or where more than 20sqft of lead-based paint is disturbed on the exterior. EEs that may require RRP certification include HVAC technicians, plumbers, or those who do window replacement, flooring, or drywall. The course includes health effects, regulations, lead-safe work practices, containment, cleaning, and record keeping. Upon passing the exam given at the end of this class, you will receive EPA RRP certification valid for five years. Lunch will be provided.
